\door Artist Run Centre presents Jean-Denis
Boudreau's _instructions at le petite trianon,
September 29 - November 16, 2007.

Jean-Denis Boudreau, a Sobey Award finalist, will be
customizing his installation _instructions for le
petite trianon, a downtown Lethbridge gallery located
at 104 – 5 Street South. The exhibition will open on
September 29 and run until November 16, 2007.
Boudreau will be in Lethbridge to install September 20
through 30 and will attend the opening reception.

_instructions is a set of graphic schematics printed
on vinyl and affixed to a variety of objects. It is
designed to aid and assist viewers in the basic
functions that we perform day-to-day without much
thought such as sitting on a chair. Thus, Boudreau
calls attention to the everyday with a humorous
investigation of how ordered and constructed our lives
have become.

Boudreau earned a diploma in animation and graphic
design from the New Brunswick Community College in
1999 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Université
de Moncton in 2002. He works as a sculptor,
printmaker and touche-á-tout. Boudreau's work has
been presented in recent solo exhibitions at the Third
Space Gallery, St. John; at the Galerie Sans Nom,
Moncton; and in group exhibitions at the Galerie
Reuben, Moncton; Viger Square, Montreal; and the 34th
Interceltique Festival of Lorient, France. In 2008,
he will be exhibiting at the Khyber Gallery in
Halifax, Nova Scotia. Boudreau is a member of
L'atelier d'estampe Imago, Inc..
